Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete maintains substantial social media presence
The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile backers as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions recently and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
However she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He advised me to compete, relax, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
